The BMW METRO STEP Experience.

Is your career in the fast lane? Can it be measured in smiles per hour? Do you use words like “passion”, “power” and “performance” when talking about your job?

BMW, in partnership with the National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters (NABOB), is proud to again present the BMW MetroSTEP program.

STEP, the BMW Service Technician Education Programs of the BMW Group, is a tuition-free training development program for highly-skilled BMW service technicians. Available to the top performing graduates of the country's best transportation industry technical schools, the purpose of the program is to help create career opportunities in the technical field in metro communities to develop the highest quality service technician apprentices for employment at BMW Group Centers and Dealers in North America.

BMW identifies highly motivated people who show a desire to become BMW Service Technicians in order to provide BMW drivers the level of service excellence they have earned.

Once you’re in this 20-week program, you’ll be paired with a local area BMW Dealer, where you’ll get mentor-guided, on-the-job training. Upon graduation, you’ll be working full-time at your assigned local BMW Center, making a professional living as a BMW Service Technician!

As a STEP student, one can expect an unsurpassed technical education and a career opportunity that comes once in a lifetime. Thousands of BMW STEP graduates have become well-compensated, successful technicians, body and paint specialists, shop foreman, Service Advisors, Service Managers and industry professionals.\
